About this event
A fantastic comedy night like this one doesn’t just entertain — it fizzes. With four distinct comedic forces sharing the same bill, the evening felt like a masterclass in how varied, vibrant and downright joyful live comedy can be.
Justin Moorhouse brought the warmth and charisma he’s known for, the kind that makes an audience feel instantly at ease. His blend of sharp gags and heartfelt storytelling — the same mix that defines his shows exploring life’s ups and downs — created a sense of connection that rippled through the room.
Brennan Reece, with his quick wit and engaging, conversational style, added a wonderfully fresh energy. His ability to weave personal stories with playful crowd interaction has made him a favourite on the circuit, and it showed — the audience leaned in, laughed hard, and loved every moment.
Karl Porter injected a completely different flavour: high‑energy physical comedy that had people laughing before he even finished a setup. His act‑outs, characters and athletic bursts of movement — famously inspired by everything from football celebrations to gym culture — gave the night a jolt of pure, kinetic fun.
And Karen Bayley tied the whole evening together with her trademark confidence, saucy charm and razor‑sharp one‑liners. Whether hosting or performing, she has a knack for making a room feel both cheeky and comfortable, and her infectious giggle only amplifies the joy. Her reputation as an unflappable compère with precise, intelligent gags was fully on display.
What made the night truly special was how seamlessly these contrasting styles complemented one another. From warm storytelling to punchy observational humour, from physical theatrics to sly, sparkling wit, the show never dipped — it only built. By the end, the audience wasn’t just laughing; they were glowing.
